OBJECTIVE

Brand and design a fictional restaurant identity and collateral.

SOLUTION

Rumspringa is the time in a young Amish adult’s life when they are free to stray outside of their community and see what it is like in the “normal world.” This restaurant plays off the idea of Rumspringa by enticing their non-Amish audience with authentic Pennsylvania Dutch food and atmosphere without giving up the known “luxuries” of things like alcohol and electricity. An element of humor is included to play up the concept which some may already consider humorous.
